Retail Shop

The History Shop at The People's House is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Passes are not required to enter the shop.

Hours of Operation

The People's House: A White House Experience is open seven days a week Monday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some exceptions.

The People's House is closed to the public on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Inclement weather and other closures will be announced on our website.

The People's House: A White House Experience is a new educational museum experience located at 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue. Passes for the experience do not provide access to the White House, West Wing, or White House Complex.
